Users and Roles

CopilotBuilder allows you to invite users to your account and assign them roles. This feature is useful for teams that need to collaborate on creating and testing Copilots.

Available Roles

If you created your account, you are the Organization Administrator for the account. When you create a user, you can choose to assign them one of the following roles:

Role Permissions
User
  • View and test Copilots
  • View Copilot logs
Contributor
  • All permissions from the User role
  • Create and edit Copilots, Personas, and Persona Interactions
  • Manage Data Collections and Documents
  • Create ane edit Deployments
Organization Administrator
  • All permissions from the Contributor role
  • Invite users to account
  • Assign roles to users
  • Remove users

Inviting Users

Only Organization Administrators can invite users to the account. To invite a user, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Manage Invitations page
  2. Enter the user's email address, choose a role, and submit the form
    • If the user is not currently a CopilotBuilder user, they will receive an email with registration instructions
    • If the user is already a CopilotBuilder user, they will be added to your account and receive an email notification

Managing Users

Organization Administrators can manage users by navigating to the Manage Users page. Here, users can be assigned different roles or removed from your organization
